When to Schedule your newborn session
Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first 7-14 days after birth, when babies are sleepiest and most comfortable being gently posed.
Don't worry - flexibility is built in. Your session date is reserved around your due date and finalized once your baby arrives.

What to Expect During Your Newborn Session
Your newborn session is designed to be calm, unhurried, and centered around your baby’s comfort.
Sessions typically last 2–3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and gently posing your baby. My Katy-area newborn studio is prepared with soft wraps, blankets, and simple accessories so parents can relax while I carefully photograph each moment.
Parents and siblings are always welcome to join for family portraits during the session, creating meaningful images that celebrate your growing family.

That is completely normal. Sessions are designed to be baby-led and unhurried, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks. Some babies sleep deeply while others stay awake for parts of the session — both create beautiful and meaningful images.
Do parents and siblings need to be photographed?
Family and sibling images are always welcome but never required. Everything is kept relaxed and natural.

Very little. Studio wraps and props are provided and you'll receive simple preparation tips before your session.
